What You Will Do
- Collaborate closely with colleagues on designing, reviewing, testing, and auditing complex Linux systems.
- Ensure adherence to ISO27001 standards throughout all project phases.
- Assess specifications, prepare quality and test plans, perform risk analyses, and guide software implementation and user acceptance testing.
- Maintain, modify, and improve Linux systems.
- Test and implement new products/software in Linux environments.
- Oversee system implementation (new) and migration (current) projects internally and externally.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Linux techniques and developments.
- Technical Expertise (Preferred but not mandatory)
Who You Are
- A reliable, pleasant, and calm team player with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Hold a relevant higher education (HBO) degree.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Linux and various testing methodologies.
- Have experience with information security, process improvement, and monitoring.
- Be solution-oriented, service-minded, detail-oriented, and enjoy hands-on work.
- Demonstrate strong communication, social skills, independence, persistence, and the ability to prioritize.
- Be willing to travel occasionally.
- Have at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Be fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
Technical Expertise (Preferred but not mandatory)
- Daily tasks include Linux system administration, email, networks, DNS, DHCP, and LLDP.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash or Python).
- Experience with Nagios, High Availability (keepalive), and MS 365.
- Experience with IPv6, Ansible, Asterisk, and internet service providers is a plus.
